Advice for your group lesson planning

To fully experience golf, and for safety reasons, you need to know more about golf than just how to hit the ball. This is why the Netherlands Golf Federation (NGF) created the 9 step plan for golfers to reach their goals. PGL's experienced golf coaches can guide you.

STEP 1 – Create & Invite

Specify requirements for your own golf lesson package, and send out invitations. All is done in a few clicks..

STEP 2 – Guest signup

More participants, lower golf lesson price pp! No obligation or charge until the package is booked.

STEP 3 - Package booking

Finalize the deal when enough participants sign up for the package, and start golfing with your own group!

As the organizer, you always decide who can join.You can send invitations to your network for a package. You can also choose to make the lesson package into a shared package, by simply sharing the package page link to the social media. You might receive requests from interested parties to join at which point you can decide to approve or not. No uninvited visitor can discover your package information.

As an organizer, there is no charge to create a golf lesson package and invite your guests. A paying event host and Participants will be require to pay for the lesson fee & PGL Value Bundle, only when the package is successfully booked.

Because it provides you with all you need to play golf as required by the Netherlands Golf Federation (NGF). The PGL Value Bundle includes official NGF registration, NGF club membership and full access to an online score management system and to PGL. And the PGL Value Bundle is only €39!

There is no reason to worry about this. Golfers of all levels are used to and enjoy playing with each other. And our experienced coaches will provide each participant with instruction based on his or her playing level.

Choose your preferred Handicap 54 option under “Your Goal”, specify your other requirements and invite your guests. PGL will match this with one of it's coaches and put you in touch.

It is a mandatory Rule Exam which you must pass to be able to get Handicap 54, mandated by the Netherlands Golf Federation (NGF). It consists of 30 multiple choice questions of which you must answer ate least 23 correctly to pass. You have 60 minutes to do your exam. The NGF has provided us with Dutch, English and German Exams for your convenience.

After you have booked a lesson package, you will have the option to apply for a Rule Exam. If you have applied for an exam, the Examiner will contact you to schedule the exam with you. At this time you can request to have an English or German Exam.

You may practice the Dutch NGF Rule Exam unlimited and free. When you have finished an exam, results and explanations will be shown to you. You can also download the Rules of Golf App (iOS, Android and Windows 7) for free (also available in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and German).

Don’t worry if the terms used here do not mean much to you right now. You have to pass the NGF Rule Exam before you can make a qualifying score. When you have passed the NGF rule exam successfully, you will know all these terms.

A qualifying score is a 9 or 18 hole score played under qualifying conditions. One of these conditions is that there must be a marker, which is someone who records your score and who, like you, must sign your scorecard. A marker is anyone with at least a Handicap 54. You can register your scores with the online score management system included in the PGL Value Bundle.

To get Handicap 54 you must achieve a result of at least 18 stableford points over 9 holes, or 36 stableford points over 18 holes, playing from Handicap 54. You only need to register 1 score.

To get Handicap 36 you must register 3 qualifying scores. Only one needs to have a result of at least 18 stableford points over 9 holes, or 36 stableford points over 18 holes, playing from Exact Handicap 36.
